A-1 Electric work focuses primarily on large industrial, commercial, entertainment, institutional firms in Los Angeles, Orange, and Ventura counties.

The construction division’s primary focus is power, lighting, computer and monitor control work. A-1 Electric specializes in both construction and remodel work. We have had extensive experience working in occupied areas of buildings.
Our workmen are trained to recognize that this presents special problems. Our improvement type work includes custom lighting, power distribution, motor control, data and telephone cabling. We are proud of the quality of our workmanship, safety record and the efficiency of our operations. We assure first class installations at a competitive price. The service division uses unique proven maintenance procedures to assure our customers the freedom from worry regarding electrical risks. We are equipped with the latest testing equipment including infra-red thermography and power harmonics testing.
We carry a five million dollars all risk insurance policy currently with H.D.I Gerling American Insurance Co. Our bonding company is H.C.C Surety Company and we have bonded jobs for over 2 million dollars with them. Our workman’s compensation policy is also with H.D.I Gerling American Insurance.

We are especially proud of our field personnel. They are all IBEW certified journeyman wireman and state indentured apprentices working toward that distinction. They are members of the IBEW, have attended classes, passed tests and are qualified to work on all types of electrical systems.
The company has a strong ongoing safety program and many of our people are certified to work in asbestos contaminated areas under special conditions.
